Exactly one year to the day after the Frenchman joined the capital club, PSG announced the end of the 56-year-old on Wednesday. The club thanked Galtier for his commitment during the past season, which did not go as hoped.
Although PSG became French champions, the team failed in the Champions League in the round of 16.
Galtier’s successor was expected to be announced on Wednesday. In all likelihood, the Spaniard Luis Enrique will start this Wednesday. A press conference was scheduled for 1:45 p.m. at the new PSG campus.
