Just hours after Christophe Galtier’s split was officially confirmed, Paris St-Germain announced Luis Enrique as their new manager on Wednesday, as expected.
The Spaniard, who was last in charge of selecting his home country, has signed a two-year contract with the French champions.
Although Galtier had won the national title ahead of Lens, he failed in the Champions League in the round of 16.
