After extensive inspections and reports from the Bundesliga, Senate 3 of the Bundesliga determined that all A criteria for competition games in the top division of the Bundesliga were met.

“We are pleased about the approval of the Hofmann Personal Stadium by Senate 3, which was communicated yesterday and thus official confirmation of the Bundesliga for our home ground. Our new stadium is the foundation for the sustainable sporting and economic development of the club. All the more a big thank you to the City of Linz and Mayor Klaus Luger as well as Immobilien Linz GmbH with Managing Director Markus Eidenberger and Project Manager Nina Lang, as well as all the companies involved and their employees, the state of Upper Austria and our great team of employees at FC Blau-Weiß Linz , who have done an outstanding job with a lot of heart and commitment in the last few weeks. We are looking forward to football festivals at a unique location in our new Hofmann Personal Stadium together with our fans, which will certainly generate momentum for our team,” says Christoph Peschek, Managing Director FC Blau-Weiss Linz.

“After the Hofmann Personal Stadium cut a fine figure at the opening ceremony and the first friendly, we are now particularly looking forward to the first competitive game following successful licensing by the Bundesliga. Above all, I would like to thank our partner and general contractor, the Granit construction company. Successfully completing this complex project in just over a year and a half is truly an outstanding achievement. I’m sure that this spark will spread to the FC Blau-Weiß Linz team,” emphasizes Markus Eidenberger, Managing Director of ILG.
