kylian mbappe does not appear in the list of players of the psg that they will participate in an Asian tour (Japan and South Korea) starting on Saturday, according to the list published by the club this Friday, without giving an explanation as to the cause of that absence.
The decision of PSG, current French champion, comes when both parties seem to be at odds over the issue of a possible renewal of the French attacker’s contract.
Kylian’s little brother, Ethan Mbappé (16 years old), is part of the group of 29 players from the capital for the trip to Asia.
Is the absence of Kylian Mbappé a new episode of the soap opera about his future? Time will tell, but a priori it may seem so.
The player wants to continue until the end of his contract in 2024 and not renew before. The club demands that he extend his contract now because he fears that when it ends he will decide to leave the entity without PSG receiving compensation for the transfer.
Kylian Mbappé returned to team training at the beginning of the week and was at PSG’s first friendly this Friday, the 2-0 win against Le Havre. He didn’t start, but he entered the second half and scored his second goal.

A few hours later, PSG announced the list for the trip to Japan, which takes place on Saturday.
There they will face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi Al Nassr (July 25 in Osaka) and then the local Cerezo on the 28th of this month, before a final game against Inter Milan, finalist of the last Champions League, on August 1 in Tokyo.
They will also play a game in South Korea three days later against South Korean runners-up Jeonbuk Hyundai.
Top scorer in the history of PSG (212 goals in 260 games, ahead of Edinson Cavani’s 200 goals), Mbappé signed his last contract in May 2022, when he was already free to leave and seemed very close to Real Madrid.
Since then relations have been tense and the ‘Mbappé case’ marks the start of the PSG season and Luis Enrique’s first steps as the team’s coach.
