Argentine Siebert finishes second in France at the GT Open motorsport

The Argentine Marcos Siebert, in the company of the Mexican Diego Menchaca, finished today in second position the opening race of the weekend for the GT Open International of motorsports, reserved for tourism vehicles that took place in the Paul Ricard circuit, France.

The 27-year-old driver from Mar del Plata, with a Mercedes GT3 from the Motorpark team, was part of the Latin American duo that reached 1s. 910/1000 from the winning duo, made up of the Englishmen Samuel de Haan and Charlie Fagg, who prevailed with an accumulated time of 1h. 11 m. 55s. 104/1000.

In this way, the Menchaca-Siebert pairing, which added five podiums throughout the campaign, remains in second position in the tournament, behind the Haan-Fagg pairing, which leads the standings.

The second race of the weekend will be held on the same stage of Le Castellet this Sunday, starting at 8:50 a.m. Argentine time, with 60 minutes scheduled. At 3.30, meanwhile, the classification that will order the starting grid will be held.
