Driver Matías Rossi prevailed in the “Desafío de las Estrellas” of Road Tourism at the San Juan Villicum Circuit, for the ninth round of the championship, and gave Toyota its first victory in the category.

The first ten positions of the race were completed by Esteban Gini (Toyota), Julián Santero (Ford), Kevin Candela (Torino), Matías Rodríguez (Torino), José Manuel Urcera (Torino), Germán Todino (Dodge) and Nicolás Cotignola (Torino).
It was the twenty-sixth victory for Rossi and the first for Toyota in its 24th participation in Turismo Carretera.
The next date of the category, which will be the tenth and last of the Regular Stage, will take place on August 19 and 20 at the Buenos Aires racetrack.
Mariano Werner (Ford) continues as leader in the standings with 256.5 points, followed by Santero with 249.5 and Mauricio Lambiris (Ford) with 229.5 points.
