The ceremony took place with family and friends at Weinschloss Thaller in Styria. “We had always planned to get married and celebrate again with friends and family after our wedding in a small circle. Now we have made it come true and enjoyed a wonderful day! Marisa and I are overjoyed and it’s nice that so many are happy with us,” says the proud groom. The couple is going on vacation with friends this week. Afterwards, Stefan Kraft’s summer sporting preparations will continue.
Stefan Kraft is one of the most successful ski jumpers of all time. The 30-year-old from Salzburg has 30 World Cup wins and 98 podium finishes, is an Olympic team champion, two-time overall World Cup winner and three-time ski flying World Cup winner, won the Four Hills Tournament and the Raw Air Tour twice. He won 16 medals at world championships and holds the ski flying world record of 253.5 meters.
By the way: His longtime friend and roommate, Theninger Michael Hayböck, will also get married in the summer.
