Cup finalist RB Leipzig is looking for further reinforcements for the defense apparently ended up with Amos Pieper (23).
The picture -Zeitung lists the 23-year-old from Arminia Bielefeld as a possible candidate for the Saxons, should the transfer of dream player Maxence Lacroix from VfL Wolfsburg not be realized.
Arminia Bielefeld: Pieper as a support in the club and in the U21
Pieper was one of the top performers at the Arminen last season and played a key role in keeping the East Westphalia league. U21 national coach Stefan Kuntz also relied on the central defender on the way to the European Championship.
Pieper comes from the youth of Borussia Dortmund and moved to Bielefeld in January 2019. Pieper was already part of the permanent staff in the 2019/20 promotion season. His contract with Arminia expires next summer, while Leipzig is looking for a new addition should Marcel Halstenberg switch to BVB.
