Manchester City want Harry Kane and the player is also considering a move. The Spurs supposedly want to prevent this transfer.
English international striker Harry Kane is unlikely to move from Tottenham Hotspur to Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Again Telegraph reports, Spurs board boss Daniel Levy does not want to hand over the 27-year-old, although Kane has already publicly toured a change and there is allegedly an agreement between Levy and Kane, according to which all parties would come together in a serious offer.
Manchester City want Kane to replace Aguero
The striker is still under contract with the North Londoners until 2024, so Tottenham has no pressure in negotiations and is likely to demand well over 120 million euros in transfer.
Manchester City have long had a strong interest in Kane, who will replace Sergio Aguero. But the English champions do not want to risk poker until shortly before the transfer window closes and bag transfers as early as possible in order to give the newcomers enough time to internalize the philosophy of coach Pep Guardiola.
Kane, who has not been able to convince at the European Championship so far, denied that the speculation about changes had an impact on his performance. “To be honest, that is absolutely not the case! I understand that there is speculation from the media point of view, but I am fully focused on the task that we have here,” he said.
