Sergio Agüero is apparently considering retiring his career. As Radio Catalunya reports, the Argentine should have concrete thoughts of an immediate end to his career.
Agüero went down dazed a few moments after an aerial duel in the game against Deportivo Alaves (1: 1) in the first half at the end of October.
Because the 33-year-old complained of breathing difficulties, he was taken to the hospital for further examinations after minutes of treatment on the square. Dr. Josep Brugada, a renowned cardiologist and specialist in cardiac arrhythmias, had subsequently diagnosed a weak heart.
Barcelona subsequently announced a long forced break for the striker. “Agüero is not available to the team,” said the Blaugrana at the beginning of November, “in the next three months the effectiveness of the treatment will be assessed in order to determine his further recovery process.”
According to the report, as things stand, the problems are said to be more serious than previously thought.
In January of this year, Agüero was infected with Corona and at the time missed seven games at his former club Manchester City, from which he moved to the Catalans on a free transfer in the summer. It is not yet known whether the heart complaints are related to the disease at the time.
