Talleres de Córdoba beat Vélez 2-1 today in a preseason match prior to the start of the Professional League Cup, which was played at the Amadeo Nuccetelli High Performance Sports Center.
The goals for the Cordoba team were scored by Ramón Sosa and Lucas Suárez, while Braian Romero, one of his reinforcements, scored for Vélez. The match had two periods of 35 minutes.
Talleres formed with Guido Herrera; Gastón Benavidez, Juan Rodríguez, Lucas Suárez and Juan Portillo; Ramón Sosa, Ulises Ortegoza, Rodrigo Villagra, Luis Angulo; Rodrigo Garro and Nahuel Bustos.
Vélez did it with Leonardo Burián; Joaquín García, Lautaro Giannetti, Valentín Gómez and Francisco Ortega; Juan Ignacio Mendez and Jose Florentin; Gianluca Prestianni, Walter Bou and Francisco Pizzini; Brian Romero.
The substitutes then equalized 3-3.
Talleres and Vélez will share zone A of the League Cup and will debut next weekend against Gimnasia and Barracas, respectively.
