The Buenos Aires point guard, 28 years old and 1.87 meters tall, renewed the agreement for two more seasons.

Barral, a native of the El Palomar neighborhood, is captain of the current squad of the ‘rocker’ cast and became the basketball player with the highest number of appearances in official matches (414) within the club last season.
“Pepo’ (Barral) is very special to us. He is part of our family, he is a brilliant player but also an athlete and an exemplary person. His leadership is always based on example and he will undoubtedly be someone to be emulated by the youngest of the club”, said Horacio Núñez, Vice President of Works.
During his last performance in the LNB, the point guard averaged 12.9 points; 4.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game, as reflected by the institution from the Núñez neighborhood.
Barral was champion with the aurinegro team in the South American League and Interligas, both in the 2011 season.
Obras Basket, which will have American Peter Domínguez as coach (he comes from working on the NBA’s Philadelphia Sixers coaching staff), had previously renewed the contracts with Juan Pablo Venegas, Jeff Solarin and Mathías Calfani, in addition to ensuring the arrival Cameroonian inmate Rodrigue Andela, 24 years old and 2.03 meters tall.
