Manchester City and PSG are among the strongest teams in Europe. Kevin De Bruyne sees completely different approaches at the clubs.
Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has spoken about the differences between his club Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, noting other philosophies.
At the Skyblues, the behavior of players in private life and in dealing with other people also plays a role in the composition of the squad, according to the Belgian.
“They know how a team should be formed,” said De Bruyne The team. “It’s a little different from what happens at PSG, for example. It’s a different philosophy.”
De Bruyne: ManCity? “No big ego characters”
The 30-year-old added, however, that this would not automatically mean “that they will achieve less than we do”.
With Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Achraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Georginio Wijnaldum, the Parisians won five top stars last summer alone. Keeping the squad happy is no easy task for coach Mauricio Pochettino.
De Bruyne does not see this problem at Manchester City. “I think we have a pretty simple group with few or no big ego characters. It’s very important,” concluded the international.
