With the exception of captain Marcel Ziegl (heel spur) and Junior Diomande, who had to be substituted due to an injury (muscular) in the bitter 0-1 away defeat against Stripfing, SV Ried coach Maximilian Senft was able to use the entire squad for Wednesday training. Midfielder Michael Martin could be back in the squad for the first time since May 19 (home game against Altach) after a painful bone infection. Philipp Pomer returns to the team after his dental operation. 18-year-old striker Belmin Beganovic, who has not been in the squad so far this season, is back in team training after tearing a hamstring.
Waiting for permission to play
Whether Oliver Steurer – the German central defender was signed this week – can play against the league leaders from Leoben will probably only be decided on Friday. According to OÖN information, it depends on whether the 28-year-old receives permission to play in good time.
The game against Leoben starts at 6.10 p.m. SV Ried, together with OÖN, invite numerous youth teams from Upper Austria to this game.
