Austria’s judo association has suspended Wachid Borchashvili for seven weeks and one year conditionally for his assault on a teammate.
The Marchtrenker not only misses the Grand Prix at the weekend in Zagreb, but is also excluded from national team training during this time.
Borchashvili celebrates his comeback at the Grand Slam in Baku (September 22-24).
