Argentine striker Mateo Klimowicz scored a goal in Atlético San Luis’s 2-1 away win against Puebla, in one of the four matches that began the fourth date of the Apertura tournament in the Mexican first division of soccer.
The match was played at the Cuauhtémoc stadium, in the city of Puebla, and Klimowicz, born in Córdoba and nationalized German, scored the first goal, while the second was the work of Brazilian Vitinho, and Guillermo Martínez Ayala discounted.
For its part, León beat Mazatlán at home 2-1 with goals from Ecuadorian Ángel Mena and Uruguayan Federico Viñas, while the visitor had taken the lead through Ake Loba from Ivory Coast.
León, led by Argentine Nicolás Larcamón, had his compatriots Adonis Frías and Lucas Romero as starters, while Facundo Almada played for Mazatlán and ex-Huracán Lucas Merolla entered in the second half.
Pumas UNAM, meanwhile, tied at home with Toluca 1-1 with goals from Mexican players, Cesar Saul Huerta Valera and Juan Pablo Domínguez Chonteco.
The Pumas UNAM team, led by Argentine Antonio “Turco” Mohamed, had as starters his compatriots Lisandro Magallán, Eduardo “Toto” Salvio and Gustavo Del Prete, while Juan Dinenno entered in the second half.
In Toluca, the Argentine Tomás “Toto” Belmonte, recently acquired from Lanús, entered the second half.
In the remaining game, Juárez and Chivas de Guadalajara, which remains the leader with 10 points, tied 1-1 with goals from Ecuadorian Avilés Hurtado and Alexis Vega, respectively.
In Juárez, the Argentine Agustín Urzi, ex-Banfield, entered in the second half.
