Former Dortmund Jew Bellingham also commented on his strong performance for Real Madrid at UD Almería with a small dig at BVB.
“I’m ten times better than last season,” said the England international on club TV at the top Spanish club after the 3-1 win. “I feel very comfortable with these players and am learning every day.” The level at Real is “so high and I’m like a sponge that absorbs everything my team-mates tell me”.
Bellingham (20) moved to Spain this summer for the basic amount of 103 million euros, BVB can also receive bonus payments up to a maximum total of around 30 percent of the fixed amount.
