“Everything is signed, the player is registered with the associations,” says Robert Tremel, board member of SV Ried when asked by OÖ Nachrichten. So it’s now officially fixed: Wilfried Eza (26) from Ivory Coast is moving from FC Ararat Armenia (Armenia) to the Innviertel, OÖN reported on August 11th about Rieder’s interest for the first time. The transfer fee should be a little under 100,000 euros. According to Tremel, the player still needs the Red-White-Red Card (work permit). “The processes are all prepared,” says Tremel.
The striker will probably start training during the international break. Tomorrow’s SV Ried away game at title candidate GAK (8.30 p.m.) is still too early for Eza. There should be an official confirmation from the club later today. The transfer window in Austria ends on August 31st.
