SV Ried continues to show two faces in the 2nd soccer league: In the 0:1 against GAK, the Innviertler started bitingly – but gave up control of the game for inexplicable reasons. In the first half, Ried goalie Andreas Leitner had prevented a deficit against GAK striker Daniel Maderner (28th), in the 56th minute he was powerless: A shot from 18 meters went off the post into the goal.
It remained 0-1 because the Vikings missed numerous top chances through Nik Marinsek (49′), Philipp Pomer (49′), Oliver Steurer (69′), Marc Schmerböck (76′) and David Ungar (95′). . “We hWe simply had to force a goal, there’s a lack of conviction,” said Ried goalie Leitner after the final whistle. Celic replaces Martin
