Transfers: Media: Eintracht striker Kolo Muani moves to PSG

The move from Frankfurt’s top striker Kolo Muani to Paris had actually already burst. But after the cancellation of the Hessians, the French are increasing their offer – and are apparently successful.

Crazy turn in the transfer theater around Eintracht Frankfurt’s star striker Randal Kolo Muani.

According to media reports, the 24-year-old attacker, who went on a training strike with the Bundesliga soccer club, is now moving back to his homeland to the French record champions Paris Saint-Germain. There is no official confirmation from the clubs yet.

After the deal had actually burst in the afternoon, PSG increased its previous offer of around 90 million euros again in the evening and was apparently successful with the offer. While the transfer period in the Bundesliga ended at 6 p.m., the transfer window in France only ends at 11 p.m.

Transfer fee should be almost 95 million euros

According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, Paris is transferring almost 95 million euros for Kolo Muani, whose contract with the Hessians runs until 2027. The runner-up went on a training strike on Wednesday to force the change and also missed Thursday’s playoff second leg against Levski Sofia (2-0) in the Conference League.

For Frankfurt, Kolo Muani was a sporting and economic transfer hit. The striker, who came on a free transfer from FC Nantes in 2022, was not only the third-best scorer with 15 goals in his first and last Bundesliga season, but also the striker with the most scorer points with a further 16 assists. Now Eintracht can also look forward to a record income.
