Harry Kane’s move to FC Bayern is still an open wound for Tottenham’s boss. Now the club boss is talking about a possible return of the striker.
According to club owner Daniel Levy, Tottenham Hotspur have secured the right to buy back Bayern’s top striker Harry Kane. This clause was part of the deal with the Munich team, Levy told British media at a Spurs fan meeting. The 61-year-old entrepreneur did not provide any further information about the terms of the clause and the amount of a possible buyback amount.
After weeks of negotiations between the German football record champions and the Tottenham management, Kane moved to Munich for a fee of 100 million euros. Levy had long resisted selling the captain of the English national team, who had played for the London team since his youth and became a club icon there.
The 30-year-old Kane signed a contract with Bayern until mid-2027. “I will continue to keep an eye on Tottenham for the rest of my life,” Kane said recently.
