How perfectionist Liverpool FC approaches games can be seen during an OÖN local inspection in Bad Leonfelden, where the English star footballers are staying before the Europa League game against LASK.
The Ritter bakery in the city center delivered the bread for the “Reds” to the hotel. “The day before yesterday we had a meeting with the dietitian at Liverpool FC,” says master baker Erwin Beirohr to OÖNTV (see video below). “We have the honor of baking bread for the athletes.”

According to Beirohr, it didn’t take many changes for the star players because the Bad Leonfelden bakery pays attention to quality anyway. “It was about things that the athletes can’t eat, about easily digestible products.” Beirohr adds: “The only thing they took away from us was the poppy seeds.”
Sebastian Beimrohr baked the bread that night and brought it to the team hotel at half past six. He wasn’t able to catch a glimpse of the football stars so early; only the “Reds” bus driver took a photo of him.
