Maximilian Entrup instead of Darwin Nunez, Donis Avdijaj instead of Mohamed Salah – after the football festival on the Europa League stage against Liverpool, LASK welcomes Hartberg to the Raiffeisen Arena on Sunday (2.30 p.m.).

“It may sound strange, but I don’t really care who’s coming,” said Florian Flecker, scorer of the 1-0 win against the English. “I don’t think it changes anything for any of us. When it comes to points, we have to be fully there. What characterizes our game is that we don’t give up a single meter.”

That will be a challenge after the intense game on Thursday. Some players made the impression on coach Thomas Sageder that they were tired during yesterday’s training, not only because of the stress, but also “because one or two of them couldn’t sleep immediately after the impressions.”

The recovery phase must end today because the concrete preparation for Hartberg begins. “It’s part of our rhythm that you can do it – and my boys can do it,” assured Sageder.

Eight times without a win

After a change in the summer, the Styrians got off to a surprisingly strong start to the season. With eleven points from seven games, they are in fourth place, directly behind LASK – and they are a feared opponent for the athletes: LASK has not been able to win any of the last eight duels. Sageder: “Hartberg will demand a top performance from us.” Like Liverpool.
