Konrad Laimer scored his first competitive goal for Bayern Munich: The ÖFB team player scored to make it 2-0 and 4-0 in the supplement to the first round of the German Football Cup against third division team Münster.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had put Bayern in the lead (9th), and in the 40th minute Laimer headed a cross from Leon Goretzka. Before the break, Frans Krätzig also scored his first Bayern goal, and Mathys Tel scored the final score. Striker Harry Kane was rested by coach Thomas Tuchel, Laimer helped until he was substituted (63′) again as a right-back.
On the actual first round date before the Bundesliga kick-off, Bayern lost the Supercup against Leipzig 3-0. The defending cup champions will complete the second round on Tuesday against second division team Wehen-Wiesbaden.
