Team boss Ralf Rangnick not only has to find a replacement for Marko Arnautovic, David Alaba and Stefan Posch will also probably be missing in the European Championship qualifiers against Belgium on October 13th and three days later in Azerbaijan.
Defense boss Alaba was substituted before half-time in Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Las Palmas due to a muscle injury. Posch suffered his thigh injury on Sunday during Bologna’s 0-0 draw against champions Naples. According to the diagnosis, the 26-year-old has to take a break for four weeks. Marcel Sabitzer, Michael Gregoritsch, Florian Grillitsch and Philipp Mwene are also currently recovering from injuries.
