While AI (artificial intelligence) is described everywhere as “the next big thing”, the integration of it is still in its infancy. Sometimes it is not yet fully developed.
The newspaper “Verdens Gang” also had to admit the latter, which recently declared Erling Haaland dead in one of its reports. The reason is a simple translation error. The paper, which has been integrating AI for a few months, wrote that photographer David Yarrow “took unique photos of footballer Erling Braut Haaland, who was shot at the estate of billionaire Arne Fredly Lysaker.”
The AI apparently translated “shoot” into photoshoot incorrectly. The apology followed immediately.
“Here we have to apologize to Erling Braut Haaland. Although Haaland tears apart the opposing defense in England almost every week and shoots in pieces, it was by no means the intention to kill him in print.” Something like this won’t happen again in the future.
The photo shoot was based on the Vikings:
