The head of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports announced that there will be a modification in the regime that regulates employer contributions and withholdings to sports institutions for their own benefit.
The Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Matías Lammensannounced this Thursday that since State will be modified again decree 1212the system of perception and retention for the income of personal contributions and employer contributions corresponding to the clubs of the argentine soccer.
The measure was celebrated by the more than 50 Argentine soccer leaders present at the official presentation of the organization of the World Cup 2030.

The decree published in 2003 had been modified in 2019 during the government of Mauricio Macri with an increase in the contribution rate of sports employees and an expansion in the scope of figures who previously did not pay taxes.

In April 2019the Government of Mauricio Macri decided to modify the decree 1212 signed by Eduardo Duhalde and Alberto Abad in 2003which establishes a special regime for personal contributions from footballers and employer contributions from clubs to the State.
