Ferro thrashes Lanús 3-0 for the Women’s Soccer League Cup

Ferro beat Lanús today 3-0 at home in Pontevedra, for the sixth date of zone B of the Women’s Soccer League Cup.

The Verdolagas won at the Santiago Leyden venue with goals from Fiama Silva from a penalty and Ailén Sosa, while the third went against them.

The women’s tournament resumed this weekend after the stoppage that occurred due to the tour that the Argentine team made in Japan in preparation for the Chile 2023 Pan American Games.

The sixth date began yesterday with Banfield’s victory over Defensores de Belgrano – already relegated – by 3 to 0. Later Rosario Central and Huracán will play.
