The race track not far from Bratislava has been the venue for the World Touring Car Championship in the past and is therefore mainly known for circuit racing. The organizers of the current edition of the Central European Championship were only able to meet the specific requirements of rallycross to a limited extent. “The track conditions were really bad, the gravel part was more like a field than a racing track,” said the Götzendorfer, venting his anger.
