Defending champion Bayern Munich reached the quarter-finals of the Basketball Bundesliga Cup without much trouble. Bayern clearly won in their own hall against EWE Baskets Oldenburg with 101:73 (55:35). In doing so, the Munich team took revenge for the defeat in the league in Oldenburg almost two weeks ago.
Bayern had everything under control at BMW Park from the start and started with a 13-2 run.
