That phrase that Maradona’s GP and main defendant, Leopoldo Luciano Luque, said in an audio message sent to his partner seconds after learning that he was being resuscitated, summarizes for prosecutors the representation of the death result that the team health of the ex-footballer had on the patient.

But a year later, how does the investigation into the death of the idol continue? Here is a chronology of the cause.

30-10-2020: Diego Maradona turns 60 and is honored at the Gymnastics and Fencing Stadium in La Plata, the club he directed. It is his last public appearance and he is seen very deteriorated both in his mobility and in his speech.

4-11-2020: The “10” underwent neurosurgery for a subdural hematoma at the Olivos Clinic, by decision of his GP Leopoldo Luque.

18-6-2021: They inquire into the coordinator of the nurses of the Medidom company, Mariano Perroni.

25-10-2021: Morla declares as a witness and maintains that for him it was “idiotic” that the “10” was transferred from the Olivos Clinic to the house of the Buenos Aires Tigre party where he died, and assured that this was a decision of the family and the who did not participate.

2-11-2021: Prosecutors order La Plata to be investigated if Maradona was supplied with marijuana when he lived in the town of Brandsen. They also asked for an investigation into whether the plaintiff attorney Mario Baudry committed the crime of non-compliance with the duties of a public official when, as chief of staff of the Ministry of Security, he knew about this situation and did not act.
