On Monday evening, the Austrian national football team finally qualified for the 2024 European Championships in Germany with a 1-0 win in Azerbaijan.
After 2016 and 2020, they are part of the European Championship finals for the third time in a row. Now the ÖFB team is eagerly awaiting the draw, where it will be revealed which nations are waiting in the group phase.
This will take place on December 2nd, 2023 in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. The drawing starts at 6 p.m. The 24 European Championship participants will be drawn into four groups of six teams. At the time of the draw, however, there are only 20 participants apart from host Germany, as the remaining three countries will only be played in the play-offs.
