The Argentines Ana Gallay and Fernanda Pereyra debuted today with a quick victory at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
At the Peñalolén Park in Santiago, Gallay and Pereyra won 2-0 (21-11 and 21-6) against the Independent Athletes Team (Guatemala) formed by Alvarado and Girón, for Group B.
In addition, the Quiggle-Murphy duo (from the United States) beat Gaona-Allca (Peru) 2-0 (21-13 and 21-18).
The Argentines will play tomorrow against the Peruvians and on Monday they will close the group against the Americans.
Later, the Rosario brothers Nicolás and Tomás Capogrosso will make their presentation in the men’s beach volleyball team, against Costa Rica.
