Buenos Aires, October 27 (NA) — Colombian Johan Carbonero returned to training today alongside the Racing squad, after having been inactive for seven months, after rupturing the cruciate ligament in his left knee.
In Racing’s 3-1 victory against Unión in the 2023 Professional League, last March, the 24-year-old attacker had been injured and this Friday he warmed up and did his first tactical work with his teammates.
Even so, it is expected that the player from Gimnasia could play again in the last games of the Professional League Cup, in mid-November.
In addition, the medical team reported that Maximiliano Romero, who was not present in the match against Boca due to gonalgia (pain in the knee joint), worked normally.
Racing’s next commitment will be before Defense and Justice, at the closing of the eleventh date, on Wednesday, November 1 from 8 p.m. in Florencio Varela.
