The Brazilian footballer published a devastating message on their social networks later of suffering the serious injury in the match against Uruguay.
“It is a very sad moment, the worst. I know I am strong but this time I am going to need my family and friends even more”he wrote along with a photo in which he is seen holding his face in pain.
“It’s not easy to go through an injury and surgery, imagine going through all that again after 4 months of recovery”he added.
And he concluded: “I have faith, even too much… But I put the strength in God’s hands so that he can renew mine.”
