NBA champion Denver beat Dallas in a “battle” between Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic

Denver Nuggets (5-1), current champion, defeated Dallas Mavericks (4-1) at home by 125 to 114, in a notable “duel” between Serbian Nikola Jokic, author of 33 points in the winner, and the Slovenian Luka Doncic, who scored 34 for the loser, in another day of the NBA regular season and at the start of the NBA Cup.

The NBA Cup will be played in parallel until December 9, with a group stage and a direct elimination stage that will lead to the final in Las Vegas. In the group stage, the matches will have double value, as they will count for both the tournament and the regular season.

Meanwhile, at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma, the Golden State Warriors (5-1) beat the Thunder (3-3) on the road by 141 to 139, with 30 points from star Stephen Curry. For the defeated Canadian guard Luguentz Dort finished his performance with 29 points.
