Germany has NFL fever. Two more teams, the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts, will be visiting Frankfurt on Sunday. But what does the future of football and NFL look like in Germany? NFL Germany boss Alexander Steinforth talks about a booming market and the league’s plans.
Mister Steinforthhow sure of the lyrics are you now with the stadium hits “Country Roads” and “Sweet Caroline”?
Things have definitely gotten better in the last year and a half. Last weekend I caught myself singing along several times in the Commissioner’s Lounge at the stadium in Frankfurt. By the way, many of our guests do too.
Was Commissioner Roger Goodell, the head of the NFL, also among them?
He didn’t sing along, but he swayed along.
