Gallardo, heading to Saudi Arabia: “It opens my mind to be part of something different”

Coach Marcelo Gallardo left today heading to Saudi Arabia to take charge of Al Ittihad of that country, with which he will dispute the Club World Cup and he will direct big stars.

The former coach of Riverwho is coming from a sabbatical year, left Ezeiza Airport at noon to make a stopover in Rome, and then finally land in the Middle Eastern country, which will be a new home for -at least- the next 18 months.

“It is a decision that I made based on personal reasons. There is a lot to develop. They encouraged me with a large development project in a place that has a certain virginity in that aspect”Gallardo argued.
