November has been slow so far for Bayern’s basketball players. A sporting liberation is once again achieved in our own hall.
The basketball players at FC Bayern Munich have stopped their negative trend and achieved a sense of success in the Bundesliga.
Coach Pablo Laso’s team defeated the MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in their own hall with 92:84 (39:27). Munich’s best throwers were Sylvain Francisco (20 points), Devin Booker (15) and ex-NBA professional Serge Ibaka (15). For Bayern it was their fifth win in their eighth league game of the season.
However, November has been mixed so far for the German cup winners. The victory over Ludwigsburg, which was safe for a long time and which national coach Gordon Herbert also saw live on site, was just the second in the seventh game this month. The Laso team has weakened noticeably recently, especially away and on the international stage.
Other teams such as champions Ratiopharm Ulm or rivals Alba Berlin got off to a better start to the season in the league. Next week the Munich team will be playing in the Euroleague against Asvel Villeurbanne and in the league against newly promoted Rasta Vechta.
