Has BVB found its Haaland successor? The advisor to Uruguay striker Alvarez announced at least talks with Dortmund.
When looking for a successor to attacker Erling Haaland, BVB has apparently targeted Agustin Alvarez from the Uruguayan club Penarol. Edgardo Lasalvia, the 20-year-old’s advisor, gave notice FCInterNews at least transfer talks with Borussia Dortmund.
Lasalvia will initially head to Italy to meet up with Inter and AC Milan, both of whom have expressed an interest in Alvarez. Then the journey continues to BVB.
The center forward has already scored 23 goals in a total of 38 competitive games this season.
BVB: Also Benfica’s Nunez on the note?
According to the Portuguese newspaper “Record”, BVB should be interested in another Lasalvia protégé:
The 22-year-old is currently storming for Benfica Lisbon and has already scored eleven goals in 16 competitive games this season. His contract there runs until 2025.
