TC 2000: champion Pernía achieved the final pole, but a penalty delayed him

The champion Leonel Pernia (Renault Fluence) dominated the qualifying test this afternoon, with a view to the final race of the TC 2000which will take place at the Oscar Cabalén racetrack, in the town of Alta Gracia, Cordova.

The 48-year-old driver from Tandil obtained his sixth pole position of the season, with a record of 1m. 33s. 343/1000although, based on the penalties suffered, the champion will start in the eighth starting box.

This way, Mariano Pernia (Renault Fluence), Leonel’s younger brother, reached the third qualifying time and will start ahead tomorrow, with a time of 1m. 33s. 513/1000.

Next to him in the first row will be Facundo Aldrighetti from Rio Negro (Toyota Corolla), with 1m. 34s. 030/1000, while Ignacio Montenegro (Renault Fluence) from Chubut, with 1m. 34s. 038/1000, and Facundo Ardusso from Santa Fe (Honda Civic), with 1m. 34s. 247/1000 will start from the second row.

Further back, Julián Santero from Mendoza (Toyota Corolla), Chilean Javier Scuncio Moro (Honda Civic), Bernardo Llaver from Mendoza (Honda Civic), Leonel Pernía from Tandil (Renault Fluence), Rio Cuarto native Facundo Marques (Renault Fluence) and Chilean Felipe Barrios Bustos (Renault Fluence).

The final competition of the twelfth date of the annual calendar will start tomorrow at 11:25, 35 minutes plus one lap.
