Under the title “We want to vote now”the opposition group “Unidos x Boca” released a statement after the mobilization of fans in favor of the ruling party that took place on Sunday in La Bombonera.
In it, the group begins by emphatically rejecting “the lies and operations coming from the ruling party. We said it on repeated occasions and we maintain it again: we want to vote as soon as possible in a transparent manner and without cheating.”
Furthermore, “Unidos x Boca” maintains that “if the current leadership had agreed to review the registry with technical consultants from both parties and the same computer expert who detected the irregularities, yesterday all the partners would have elected new authorities.”
“But Riquelme and Ameal did not want to vote. They preferred to organize a political mobilization with militants who have nothing to do with the active life of the Club to focus on what is important: proposals for the future of Boca”denounces the opposition about the suspension of the elections and the mobilization of fans in favor of the ruling party.
Then, the statement points to three aspects that they resort to in their criticism of the current management, which are the treatment with the partners, the Football Council and the expansion of La Bombonera:
“What are they going to do with the filters that unfairly leave thousands of members off the field? Do you have a candidate for Technical Director to take charge of the first team? Do you want the Football Council to continue operating? Are you going to explain why “Didn’t they keep their promise to expand La Bombonera?”.
Furthermore, the formula Ibarra-Macri highlight a phrase Juan roman riquelme in the middle of the year: “Let’s not forget that it was the same vice president who a few months ago said “it would be logical that in December there were no elections.” We do want to. Without a false registry, defending the affected Boca members and preserving the Club as an institution.”
Finally, the statement concludes with the request for a transparent election: “We hope that they end the campaign of fear. Neither privatization, nor intervention. Boca was, is and will always be the partners’. Enough of confusing and dividing the Boca fan. Let’s vote now, without cheating and with a transparent registry.”
