Lisa Hauser won a biathlon sprint competition in Östersund for the first time in her career.
With her third World Cup victory she has taken the lead in the overall standings.
The mass start world champion remained without a miss over 7.5 km and distanced the Swede Elvira Öberg by 12.5 seconds. “It’s amazing, I don’t even know what to say.
“It’s just really cool,” said the 27-year-old Tyrolean happily. Sebastian Samuelsson (Swe) triumphed in the men’s competition, while Simon Eder was the best ÖSV athlete in 27th place.
