LINZ. In the last ten home games of the ICE Hockey League, the Steinbach Black Wings have always scored, but only celebrated three wins after regular playing time.
Today (7.15 p.m.) the Linzers should write full again with a view to a play-off ticket against the fickle Graz 99ers and take the momentum under neo-trainer Raimo Summanen.
After nine direct hits in the first two matches under the Finn, the strikers are not lacking in self-confidence. “The league is very even, anyone can beat anyone,” says Summanen, who has to specify three players: Josh Roach (bruise in the thigh), Stefan Gaffal (adductor) and Kai Kantola, who could make his debut next week.
