The MLS reached a record of 587 million dollars last season according to the data collected by Sponsor United and SportsPro. Finance, healthcare and insurance brands led sponsorships with investments of $92 million, 79 million dollars and 47 million dollars respectively.


Adidas, Continental and BodyArmor They were the most active brands by number of activations or signaling per team this season with 30, 30 and 28 agreements. The financial category saw the most new brand deals of the season with a total of 32, almost half of which were in the investment services subcategory.
Non-fungible token subcategories (NFT), betting and fantasy games had the most significant contraction, with decreases of 17 and 8 sponsorship deals, respectively.
Sporting Kansas City continues to lead all MLS teams in sponsorship deals with 125followed by Austin FC (111) and FC Cincinnati (107). The Kansas City team has 13% more sponsorship deals than the second-place club. -Lionel Messi of Inter Miami leads among all players with 21 sponsorships.
Rounding out the top five are Kellyn Acosta of Los Angeles FC (13 brand sponsorships), Javier Hernández of the Los Angeles Galaxy (11), Walker Zimmerman of Nashville SC (10) and Héctor Herrera of the Houston Dynamo (7).
Xavier Asensicommercial director of Inter Miami, told the last Soccerex that the club generated a record of 120 million dollars by 2023, more than double the 50 million dollars earned in 2022. The expectation next season is to reach 200 million dollars
