Fans of the St. Petersburg football club “Zenith” on Friday, December 3, left the stands in the 60th minute of the match of the 17th round of the Tinkoff Russian Premier League (RPL) against FC Rostov.
As a sign of solidarity with the fans of CSKA Moscow, the fans began to leave the match an hour after the start of the game.
Earlier, some of Rostov’s fans also held a rally, leaving the stadium in the 20th minute of the match.
The arrests after the CSKA – Zenit match, which ended with a score of 2: 0 in favor of the team from St. Petersburg, were carried out on November 28. In the capital’s headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this information was confirmed. It was clarified that at the end of the meeting, the fans of the red-blue lit several dozen flares.
On the same day, it became known that the police officers drew up 51 reports on administrative offenses. At the same time, at least 25 CSKA fans may face a ban on attending sporting events in Russia.
CSKA fans announced that they would hold a protest at the 17th round match of Tinkoff RPL against Wings of the Soviets. On December 4, they will leave the guest sector on the upcoming departure to Samara, when the scoreboard will be 19 minutes and 11 seconds.
On December 3, CSKA fans were joined by Dynamo fans. They will leave Grandstand D after the first half of the match against Ufa, which will take place in two days.
The army team was also supported by the association of Spartak fans, who intend to leave the stands at the meeting with Akhmat on Saturday.
In turn, the leadership of CSKA condemned the fans’ use of so many pyrotechnics, but stressed that the innocent should not suffer. The club promised to provide legal support to their fans.
