There were talks with the current Liechtenstein team boss Martin Stocklasa, but there is no comeback in the Innviertel. Another return is possible: that of Robert Ibertsberger, who already worked in various positions at Riedern between 2010 and 2017.
Most recently, the 44-year-old from Salzburg was also an issue at the second division GAK. Yesterday the Styrians presented Gernot Messner as their new trainer – maybe because Ibertsberger would rather be in Ried trainer? “There were talks with both clubs. It would not only appeal to me geographically, I have also been in Ried for seven years”, Ibertsberger confirms at least the contact from Ried when asked by OÖN.
