The ailing FC Barcelona beckons a cash injection. Three Premier League clubs are said to have expressed interest in Martin Braithwaite.
English first division clubs Brighton & Hove Albion, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers have apparently targeted FC Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite. This is reported by the Catalan daily newspaper Sport.
The Dane faces stiff competition at Barca after signing Sergio Agüero and Memphis Depay. Three years before the end of the contract, he could therefore leave the Catalans in the summer for a rumored 15 million euros.
FC Barcelona: Braithwaite apparently prefers West Ham and Wolverhampton
The Premier League is apparently an attractive destination for Braithwaite, although Brighton is not said to be his first choice. Accordingly, the 31-year-old would prefer a move to West Ham or Wolverhampton to the Seagulls.
In early 2020, Braithwaite moved from Leganes to FC Barcelona for € 18 million, where he has since played a role as a supplementary player. In the past season, the attacker was only in the starting line-up in eleven La Liga games and contributed two goals.
