The Argentine National TeamWorld Champion in Qatar 2022, was recognized for the second consecutive year as “Team of the year” by the International Sports Press Association (AIPS).
La “Scaloneta” finished in first place with 666 points, in the vote in which 405 journalists from 107 countries participated. American gymnast Simone Biles was recognized as “Female Athlete of the Year”followed by the Kenyan middle distance runner Faith Kipyegon and the Spanish soccer player Aitana Bonmati.
