The time has finally come soon – the home European Championship is just around the corner! Germany welcomes 23 national teams this summer, who of course want to be accommodated appropriately. Time to take a look at the crew quarters, which have already been determined.

EM 2024: DFB-Elf meets Switzerland, Hungary and Scotland in the preliminary round
On paper, the DFB team faced viable group opponents in Switzerland, Hungary and Scotland. However, it won’t be easy – especially since national coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team recently presented itself as anything but tournament-ready.
Nevertheless, 18 years after the atmospheric World Cup summer fairytale, DFB President Bernd Neuendorf believes in another successful home tournament: “Ours National team will delight their fans again at the Euros, we are all convinced of that.”
Neuendorf has great expectations for the home European Championships. “I’m really looking forward to this tournament: We will see exciting games and experience a great atmosphere in the stands. It will be a European festival of football!” said Neuendorf in a statement published by the German Football Association (DFB) outlook for 2024 published on New Year’s Day. “We will present ourselves as a friendly, warm and open country.”
